Yes this is a question if there is any dooms day in 2012. From my childhood I have grown up listened too many times that in 2012 there would be a day named as doomsday and everything will be vanished on that day, whether humans, animals or any live things. But after that, there would be also a new world where better life would take place. The story seems to be very filmy and we used to listen that with a lot of interest if someone talked about.

Today even there is no reason to believe on this face if there is any dooms day but being humans and a nature of adventure and to like unusual things we like to talk about that. Even some movies in Hollywood are also made on this topic and those were a big hit. It tells that it is not only a matter of childish talk, even mature people also somewhat believe on this.

But could it be really true, have you ever thought. In my view, yes this could be true, but doomsday would be a way of cleaning by nature and obviously it could not be cleaned in one shot. So doomsday is not going to be like the day, we used to image in our childhood. But it could be brought in our life by humans. Yes we humans would be responsible only for this kind of day. Today we have mass destruction weapons and if they are used, then nobody can save the earth. But the good thing happened after the Second World War, that there was only cold war and not war like earlier. Yes countries are more united and world is more secure though we live on a layer of atomic weapons also. But those are also used for power balance.

Ultimately if any terrorist organization did or get this power they can really bring this kind of day, so we and also the people must think not to support this kind of any organization in any way. 

I just want to say that nature will never commit suicide, but humans can do a murder. So there is only a need to make a better world and have an optimistic thinking towards our next generation.

Windows 8: Will Not Be Accepted Easily

Windows 7 is a success again after an unsuccessful version of Window vista. Obvious windows Vista demanded huge resources which could not be provided at lower cost and people are aware enough now with the performance. They were happy with the performance of Windows XP and they are still using windows XP with full satisfaction. It is also said that Microsoft will not give everything in its version of OS, as if you get everything why will you upgrade your system.

Any ways another launch of operating system was taken place by Microsoft and that is Windows 8. No doubt it is too different from its predecessors and it will definitely be liked by new generation but what about old users who love to click on Start Button. Yes there is no start button. Yes No Start Button. So where to start?

This question comes in my mind at the time of first use of the Operating system. People are not comfortable to move on windows 7 even due to change in function as they are comfortable with windows XP and they are in habit of using that operating system.

In my view Windows 8 is a result of innovation as many new things have been adopted here, like this is touch screen friendly and give an appearance or interface to the user like a mobile phone touch screen. So it targets to the younger generation and I am sure that they will like this, If there is no performance degradation. They will also love to explore new things as still there are many things which are hidden, if you need to search for shut down button initially. As that is not available at start menu , because there is no Start Menu.

Now what about current users, In my view they will not accept this as their primary operating system at least for an year or more, as they need to learn using its interface a lot and they want their work to be completed earlier. Much software is not compatible to this, so this will take time to get the latest supporting versions of them also. And the current users are not going to use this because of different interface from the native interface of windows. This is not going to become the OS in offices as they are not using the touch screen monitors at most and they are not going to increase their IT expenses and when people are good enough in using their keyboards for so long.

In my view for at least one and half years, you will not see this operating system as a primary operating system at more than 80% of the windows machines.

Reservation: A Way to Retain the Casteism or Racism Alive in India

In India at ancient time four castes were divided on the basis of their work by some scholars with some good faith. The motive was simple that people from specific caste will learn and get experiences in their respective job and contribute to the society. There was no compulsion for any that he could not learn other thing which does not lie under his caste. The simple logic was to organize the society in a better way and it was also done successfully.

But when power goes in wrong hands, it is always use for bad only. And India was not an exception. People from castes who were capable enough and related to rulers and administrations, when they felt that they are not enough talented to retain their position which they have due to their castes, they started to interpret the system in wrong way to retain their security and status. All people from the same castes were not bad, but bad people from that caste started this and also pressurizing their own people also. In short they create another definition of caste division, which could be beneficial to them. They started to define in a way, like other caste people could not do the job except their own caste. Like Brahmin will only do the worship and learning, Kshatriya will only do wars. Vaishya will only do the business and rest of the works could be done by Shudra. All caste people followed them as they were known as the scholars and the whole society started getting spoiled. People from lower caste could not enter into the temples only upper caste people could go. Think , if god could ever discriminate with his own creation. Ridiculous.

Today in India, After the Independence of the country, Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar fought for the right of those caste people, whose living standard is very bad. And with good faith a provision is done which is called Reservation. Yes, reservation is the process where lower caste people get a liftment, like getting fixed seats in educational institutes, fee exemptions, and jobs. This helped a lot in their uplift.

But today reservation has lost almost its motive and is become the new definition of older castacism. This is divided again in 4 parts. General, OBC, SC, ST. here general could not get the seat of any of the reserved category, no matter how much talented he or she is, or very poor. He is presumed to be of higher cast rich man. And an ST or SC is presumed to be of lower caste and poor man, no matter if he is a son of a business tycoon, film star or any politician. He will get the reservation. Which kind of uplift is this? Is it justified with the society? The reality is that, people from the reserved category, who are able and strong enough they are getting more advantage now than their counterparts in their own caste. And politicians are playing with people and using this weapon to again spoiling the society. By this way, they have the ability to retain the casteism in the society and use their principle to divide and rule.

I just want to share my opinion, that I am a middle class person and I have seen many colleagues of mine who got the advantage of the system, saved a lot of money in their chest being rich people only due to the reason because they belong to some caste under reservation. They have snatched the right of a deserving candidate, may be from their own caste or from general category. Do this system needed really in today’s scenario without any amendment? In my view this is needed for our politicians to win again. Share your views here. What should be done and what should not be?

Is It Possible to Travel In The Time? The Time Travelling…

Yes this is a big question, but we all want an answer of this as Yes. Nobody could say with hundred percent surety whether it could be ever possible. But there are some principles there which could prove that this is possible, though they are not feasible by today’s level of technology. In future it could be possible to travel in the time and see what happened earlier, even this could be possible also to watch ourselves doing the things. It seems very fascinating really.

I have seen many shows on discovery channel, where they talk about time, space and some time travel in the time. Some time their commentary goes beyond the level of thinking of mine, but they do say it is possible. How? This is the big question.

Here I am not going to tell you about their research and all other complex theories which are being derived by some greater scientists, I would like to share a small article with you, where I could make you understand that it is possible to travel in the time in your past and not in future as far as I could think.
According to me, Yes according to me, as I could think , imagine and understand whether it could be possible to travel in the time or not.

If we are able to travel beyond the speed of light (300000Kilometers/sec approx.) , we could travel in time. Here we could see what we have done earlier some time ago and how much fast we could travel, we could go back in time faster to see, what happened. It seems confusing as you have again a word how? Very simple this is. 

Think, you can see object when a light reflected by that object comes to your eyes. Light dissipates all around after getting reflected and even towards the space also. So if we want to see the object in the state of 3 seconds earlier. We need to travel towards the space faster than light. Yes if we could travel at the speed of 900000 KM/sec, we could catch the light reflected by that object 3 seconds ago after travelling for 1 second towards the space. Because the light reflected by that object would have gone 900000KM far from we after 3 seconds and we have to cover only that distance to see that state of object. Though we could not make any change in our past incidents by this principle.

Another example is some stars which are far from us in light years (Distance covered by light to travel in an year). If any star is one light year far and we are able to see that. It means we are able to see its one year older state because one year older reflected light has reached us today and we can see this now due to this reflected light. And the today state of that star we could see after one year. This is the basic principle to see the past. 

But today we don’t have the technology which could make this possible, even the fastest rocket could travel at the speed of some thousands kilometers/hour speed and this is not possible at this speed. But maybe by the next century it could become the normal thing to travel in time. As in 1850, nobody could imagine we could ever land on moon, but today this has become a history even 40 years older history. So there is nothing impossible, just the right time needs to come. 

Get the maximum throughput from your printer

Today we are using computers and directly or indirectly use printers also, whether in office or at home. But at the end after so much reduction in the cost of printing, it still seems too much. What can we do, we could not stop printing documents, but we can do something which could reduce the cost of printing. Yes atleast by reducing the cost of per page printing we could reduce the overall cost of printing.

I would like to share some useful tips with you here.

·          The best way is to increase the life of print cartridge. Yes there is a need to print any page in some days, otherwise the ink of the cartridge would become dry and stick on header and if for long time, it could spoil the cartridge. So you must print anything in a span of a week at least to make the cartridge running.

·          Go to the setting of printer which could be accessed by the control panel of your operating system and modify the setting. There is no need to modify multiple settings. There are some print quality options. You do not need every print in best mode, so make this down to draft. This will reduce the usage of ink for each print and reduce the overall cost. For better print you could change this later accordingly.

·          A cartridge can be used multiple times even after being used. For this do not use the cartridge fully and use the good quality ink available in the market. You can fill this using any injection.  This will heavily reduce the cost of printing. But be cautious, use only good quality ink to fill and also do not use more than 2, 3 times any cartridge, else it could damage the printer.

·          If you are not using the printer for so long, de-attach the cartridge from that and put this in any plastic rapper, so that its ink could not be dried.

Is Every News True On TV? Should We Take Our Decisions On This News?

Yes this is a very controversial question and most of the people related to media will never accept this reality that some time news is created to get the subscribers and money. Even people around us and also those who must read this article could deny this fact that there is any true in this sentence.

There are media houses which are being used by government and in some cases by big business organizations to get the advantage. This is really a big question, whether we should believe on this our not and whether we should change our decision based on that or not. And there is no straight answer for that.

Media is called the fourth pillar of any democracy and when this pillar gets cracked, obviously it becomes very hard to run smoothly for any democracy. We can see that media channels are used to provoke Terrorism and some time to spread hate between people. Media is really a big boon but when it is used for bad cause it becomes a curse also.

In my country government has a hidden pressure on media channels and they have to show that government is doing so good and when any reporter does not follow the mob, he has to face a lot of problem. There is no direct solution, unless the people start thinking and analyzing and don’t just believe on every news. They need to show their voting power also.

At the end of the article I just want to share my opinion that media is caused by people and they must understand the things on air and take decision over their analysis and not merely by the channel recommendation. I think News is a thing which could not bear so much commercialization. News reporter is an ideal profession and they must not compromise with their job at all.

Mumbai is also known for being the home of the god of cricket i.e. Sachin Tendulkar. Yes this is the home of Sachin Tendulkar, the world’s greatest batsman.

Besides having lots of diversity and being a cosmopolitan megacity, Mumbai is able to retain its cultural identity. Ganesh Utsav is the biggest festival here and during this festival, people come out from their home and participate in worship, fairs and pandals of lord Ganesha. This is really an awesome and worth watching event.

But unfortunately being a megacity and most populous city of the country it needs hugeresources to fulfill the basic needs of citizens living here. The cost of living is high here and to own a house or flat here is beyond the limit of a common Indian. And builders are also involved in maintaining the unrealistic high prices for the properties. That makes it very hard for the common people to live here. They need to move in outskirts of the city to own a home and to come to their work, they need to travel a lot. And for travelling the Local trains are the best, fastest and cheapest medium yet. They are packed with people in their peak hours.

Mumbai Locals are known for its ability to manage more than five million people travel’s need. This is the only fastest way to travel here in Mumbai because going by roads take much time compare to local trains.

In short, Mumbai is the city worth travelling. This is the city where a traveler can found almost all the things. Near Mumbai a traveler can visit Khandala, Lonavala for visiting mountains and for beaches there are many in Mumbai. Beside this they can go to National Park, which is also a safari, where tourist can enjoy and have a good time and see also the Kaneri Caves. Temples are also here to be visited; Siddhivinayak and Mahalaxmi temples are famous. There is a tomb of Hazi Ali, which is also very famous in Mumbai and worth visiting. Elephanta Caves are also very famous and tourists can go by sea by ferry to there in an hour. They are very ancient Lord Buddha time’s caves. And for children the india’s biggest amusement park is also here, yes that is Essel World. Here you can enjoy in water kingdom or you can enjoy riding on many amazing rides. It is said there is no night in the city. The city never sleeps. Mumbai never sleeps.

• ·         While being online never share your bank details, user password with anybody, except entering user, password on secured bank website. Banks will never ask you to mail your details.
• ·         Do shopping or billing only on secured websites. Secured websites are those websites which uses https protocols and it could be seen on your address bar at the start of the website address like https://. Secured address never tells you that website is good or bad, secured addresses only tell you that this is the same website, which it claims to be.  Yes if you logged on Facebook and before that https:// is written then it means that this is original Facebook website. Money transaction must be done on secured websites only, they move your data in encrypted form to the destination, so that it could not be altered or read by hacking.
• ·         Your bank website will be the secured website and you can see the address bar of your browser to ensure this. In some browser either on status bar or on address bar, there is a sign of a lock also for better visibility.
• ·         If you mistakenly done transaction on any unsecured website, change immediately your card password or bank user password details.
• ·         Do shopping with trusted websites only and always enter the address in address bar and avoid click on links in mail or any other places to first go to the website.

Travelling Possible Through Phone

At first instance this could be ridiculous or a very un-matured thinking but in future this could be possible also. 20th century has become the century which changed the human’s life style a lot and still humans are tending to get newer innovation.

     Travelling speed has an impact on the development of the human society and we have seen this. When humans were walking they innovate and used animals like horses for fast traveling and after the discovery of wheel they have started running in development. They used bullock carts for travelling and for transportation. But unless the cars were invented the development of human society was on a slow pace and after the invention of cars we have seen the 20th century which has changed the human life completely. After that we were able to fly and even landed on moon.

At the end of the 20th century the focus was on communication, satellite and all related technologies. Merely 25 years ago we were not even thinking that people will be able to talk wirelessly on the go and with this comfort. And today we can do any kind of communication wirelessly. World is connected together with wires and with no wires. That is really a big magic of technology. We can talk on phones, send images , videos and even can get the way from source to destination and even anything almost what we could do on our pc. 
The super computer 30 years ago is in our hands in the form of mobile phone.

What next? We are doing all kind of communication through phone and most of the earlier problems we have solved through technology, but still our economies are dependant and affected a lot by oil prices as this is the main source of energy and travelling in all the countries and countries are working hard to get the alternative. They have also made and using the hybrid cars but still they need energy and direct or indirect this comes from the natural resources and they are limited.

     But “The necessity is the mother of invention”. This is true and people are thinking to transfer or transmit themselves through the common communication lines, whether wireless or wired form. If we think deep, we are doing this in some way. We can attend any meeting using video conference million miles away, though we are not present there but people can see and talk to us and they don’t feel our absence. Obviously we are present there virtually.

    We did not think ever that we would have so faster phones in our hands and will live in the world like this. And countries are working on a faster medium of travel and by the time on earth the fastest medium is our communication lines and this could become our alternative of cars. Yes we could travel by our phone like our voice, images and video travels. We are travelling virtually in cyber world but in future we could move physically. Anything is possible by technology and innovation.
