I am an
Indian citizen and belong to north India. I have raised the topic after getting
so many news and discussion about our world class city. Though I come to know
that even after having good infrastructure and lots of opportunities, this is not
a safe city to live because of people live there. I dint mean that all people
living there are bad. But if people living there started taking these crimes usually
then it becomes hard to live in the city.
For some
days there is crime of rape in the news and that was true brutal that it could
not be imagined even. Police was not serious enough to respond and did not
react for an hour after even being in front of the victims. This is very inhuman
by police and people around that. How much unsafe the city has become. I used
to prefer this city to live but after seeing the current security and safely, I
would prefer to live in under developed city. Ultimately it is more important
to live safely rather than with facilities.
I think besides
developing any city, the government should consider other aspects also, which
is related to human security and employment. Due to development, many
farmers or related people have become unemployed. Who sold their fields in huge
prices, they have become so rich with out any efforts and this is said when
money comes without hard work, it opens bad doors. So I observe, people with
this kind of money have become so daring that they don’t even think about human
and the laws of the country, as they are so much secure with that money.
I think
government should efforts to implement the laws rather than introducing the
new. Because if there is no implementation then there is no mean if they make
thousands of them. Hope for a better future.
