•If you are not getting any review online for any hotel. There is a risk of bad service also, but this is not sure, they can also provide good value for money. Only risk is high for you there.

•Do not trust on testimonials or reviews on hotel websites for taking your decisions. They are managed by hotel staffs. Only trusted third party’s reviews must be considered.

•Compare prices also with other hotels on well known websites for your selected hotel and if you get a good deal only then book this for you. 
•Initially you can book for lesser days if you are suspicious and then could extend that later.

•You can call also hotel staff for the quality of services and their response will also indicate your many things and the quality of services they could provide you.

Why Cows are worshiped in India?

India is a country of diversity and different kind of customs. Those customs and ways of living are seen usual by people living here but some foreigners see this with different perspective and sometime this is ridiculous for them. This is very natural and psychological, when we don’t know the depth of anything we could behave like this even we laugh on some foreign customs too.
Though I have initiated a very small topic here but it could clear the confusion of many people. It has big meaning in life of people here in India. Question is again left here, why cows are worshiped in India. 

India is a country of different religions and it is very surprising that they have become so much compatible with each other except some exceptional case. Those exceptions are obvious for the country with population of more than 1.2 billion. In India the Hinduism is the largest religion and more than 75% people here are Hindu. And in Hindu mythology the cow is considered an animal to be worshiped. And even some other animals also, all those have different reasons but there is a hidden positive agenda behind this.

Today there are laws implemented to prevent the hunting of tigers but even after that this is not hundred percent successful, but that is a way of prevention. The same kind of things is here with cows also. In early life when man was in habit of hunting and eating, there are multi options and he did not used to think that what would be the effect of this in future. If we take the example of cow, it could provide meat once but milk for its life time and some other usage also. Hindu scholars did notice this and modified the books accordingly to prevent these animals from unnecessary hunting and put this in religious law, which used to be followed strictly by the followers. This was a good way to control and if we see the example, even today the cow meat in prohibited in Hindus. 

This is a smaller example, beside this there are many good things, like worshipping trees, food, animals, nature and all. This will teach people to value those things which are given to us by nature and to care and not waste them. This is a very pure and good way to control and teach people about the value of the nature. I think if we go in depth of this, we would never laugh and salute the ideas of those scholars.

World is connected now in better way than ever before by the medium of internet. There are number of different applications we are using today and even very much dependant on internet. Being online is the daily activity of most of the people. But like any place this is like a world also where people like us exist virtually and many corporations and business entities are using this opportunities to grow their businesses. On the other hand , there are also some culprits, who wants to take the advantage of this. These are some kind of online goons who are involved in the category of bad people who just make people fool and try to run their illegal business.

I would like to share some simple tips with people who are not much aware about these kinds of frauds.
• There is a famous fraud these days named as Nigerian frauds sometime. In this kind of scam, you will receive a mail or even SMS on your phone indicating that you have won any kind of lottery of million dollars and you will need to provide some details related to you. If you respond, they will ask your account details and will ask for money as a tax payable. The mail is sent in thousands and some of them become victims. So do not respond these kind of mails or sms and if possible then inform to local authority.
• There are many website who claims to provide you opportunity to earn online, and for this they charge registration fee. You must not consider these kind of websites at all.
• There are many website who ask you to click on ads and claims to provide you a good amount like readbud, but in reality there is no payment even if you reach to the minimum payouts.
• Do not trust on the testimonials of these kind of websites, most of them are written by their own people and could mislead people.

There are number of newer ways these goons are getting to scam and we need to be cautious more here online than our real life. Hope these tips could help you somewhat.

Why Religion?

Yes there are many religions around the world being followed by millions of people blindly without any thinking whether they should follow or not or in what way they must follow them. I know that I am too tiny to ask this huge question but question is a question, no matter who asks.

First why religions were made, or why first religion was made? In my view or according to my eyes religions are nothing more than like a huge community of people who need to follow the rules and regulation of that community to be the successful part or member of that community. There is nothing wrong if they follow the rules of the community. 

I am not at all against any religion and I am also a believer of god and also scared of god. But there are some questions in my mind. Is there any medium needed for me to reach god, in my view there is no medium needed if I want to pray but people in the form of religious contractors are getting huge money in this business and I am sure god will never like to be part of this business.

But still the question, why religions were made? Again according to my view, when there was no community or group of people, a community like religion was made and people need to join that, some rules were made to be followed if someone wants to be part of that religion. And all these things were done in good faith. And this has done a good job, people became more civilized, and they knew that bad things should not be done else god will punish. 

But today the community like religions is losing their aim as people who claim to be the medium to reach to the god are living a lavish life and they have made religions a business and obviously most of them due to this life style do not have good character also. God always want that the follower must live a simple and true life and help others. But these religious contractors are doing their business well and these kinds of things are putting far people from their religions. We are also somewhat responsible, as we follow only those things which seem to be good to us and not those which are to be followed truly even if they are truth and must be followed.

In my view, there is an objective of religion to show the correct path to the people and even after being a religious person, if we don’t follow the path, there is not mean to be a part of that religion. I think if a person is true and honest and always try to choose the correct path, there is no need to follow any religion for him and god will always help him.

Today in the world of opportunities, there is numerous kinds of jobs available for youth and skilled persons. If a person is educated and skilled enough there is no scarcity of jobs for that person. But there is still a force of people who are not well educated or their education does not match with the demand. In this case they are in the state of compromise and they have to work on lower wages sometime. There are many scammers who want to take the advantage of this situation. There are number of ways the scammers attract these unemployed or underemployed people to cheat.

I would like to share some tips and by following them a normal person at least could avoid the chanced of being cheated by these scammers.

• If you get an email, where you are being provided a huge salary even over the market level be cautious, that can be a scam. See the “from” address of the mail body, where from the mail has come and analyze if this is really from the source company genuine email id.
• If you get any email of job and you are asked for money for your travel or air ticket expenses. Never believe on them, if it happens ever, any good company will never ask for money to you and if you go for interview, this will be reimbursed.
• If you asked for a deposit initially before joining in any organization, then this could be an alarm for you. Either you will be paid earlier by your deposit or maybe they could run away using multiple deposits of people like you.
• Avoid those job offers, where your skill or education is not suited, that could become a scam later.
• Do not pay money for any kind of job opportunity, unless you are sure about the provider.
• Always visit the place and ask employees and surrounding people about any company who is going to offer you any job, this will prevent you to be scammed.
• Ask for offer letter and appointment letter. This will assure your formal joining and you could not be scammed easily.

There are also other kinds of job scams but they can be avoided only by open eyes and ears. Hope these tips could help people somewhat.

How to Increase the Life of Your Laptop Battery

Laptop is a very convenient way of using computer and the good thing about this is that whenever there is no electricity supply like in bus or car or even in a ground you can use this. • Generally the batteries are made for getting fully discharged and charged. So use your laptop in a way that battery gets discharged if you use this on battery power and then charge the battery. Means simply you need to follow the battery charging discharging cycle and minimum number of cycles in a maximum time would increase the battery life.
• If you use your laptop on direct power supply and there is no power cut or alteration where you use your laptop, you must remove your battery and then use the laptop. 
• If you use your laptop mostly on power supply but there are power cuts during the usage of laptop, do not de-attach your battery, and rather keep the charging level on 40%. This is ideal for battery life. But if you charge this, charge this full and then let it discharged, before getting charged again. There are some provisions in battery monitor software installed on your laptop, where you can disable charging battery.
• Do not let the battery discharged fully ever. If ever it is discharged, charge this at least up to 40% of charging level.

All the above tips seem to be cumbersome process for you, but they will not if you understand them and follow them. They will increase the throughput and lifetime of your battery.

Internet is like a boon for people like us and if you are reading this article you must be using internet. But if we are more aware about internet and related applications we can use it in better way. I would like to share some of the software applications you must install on your computer if you use internet for better usage.

Antivirus: There are number of antivirus available in the market and this is must software you should have on your computer. This will prevent your computer from outside internet threats and viruses moving online in different forms. Some good free antiviruses are AVG, Awast.
Internet Browser: If you have a window machine, you must be having internet explorer already installed on your computer, but it is recommended to installed also some other browsers. Internet explorer is good but Google chrome is the fastest one and for your general browsing purposes, installs this and you will see the difference. Opera is also a very good browser. Tips to Get a Rail Ticket for Peak Seasons

In India Railway is a lifeline of people, for most of the journeys, it is a preferred medium of travelling and if journey is safe, planned and mannered, this is also very enjoyable as trains generally for long distances traverse via very beautiful natural places also. People of different location and cultures could be seen easily in any train of long distance. But for this there is proper planning is needed as train is the most preferred medium of travelling here and also cheap.

But due to these things, it is very hard to get your reservation for long distances some time and mostly it is like to win the Everest in peak seasons. People who are working far from their home prefer to go their home in festive seasons and this is a very big problem here to get reservation during this period and air tickets become so costly due to this, even 5, 6 times higher than the normal rates. So this becomes impossible some time to travel as trains are full of people and with out reservation a journey is like a hell. And when you have reservation it is like having a lottery ticket with winning number. There are many agents around you, who will ask you to get you a reservation against a high charge (some time even multiple times of the ticket value), but mostly in festive season you will have to be disappointed.

I am also a victim of this but I try to improve the state of my problems and would like to share some tips here. If you follow them, you will not be in trouble or at least you can avoid them.

• ·         In Indian railways you can get your reservation 120 days earlier and keep this in mind , this is the key. If you need to go home or somewhere in festive season you must get your reservation either by online or offline mode. For this note the time earlier and on the same day get the reservation. This slight inconvenience will help you a lot during the real time.
• ·         Get multiple reservation and when the actual date arrives, you can get them cancelled if you are not hundred percent sure about your journey. You can cancel them later and a small amount will be deducted while refund. This is really very small if you compare this with your travel agent fee with no guarantee at peak time and also the uncertainty you bear.
• ·         If you missed to get the reservation during the start. Get the reservation for odd days in lower waiting; there are chances of confirmation of that reservation.
• ·         You can trust on your travel agent for reservation, but trust more on you, if you have time, plan this for you and get it. This will save a lot of time of yours later. You will see that every agent will tell you that he will get you a reservation by any quota, but think quotas are limited and every agent is trying to get this. So in peak days, whoever agent gets this, earns money and rest says only sorry to their clients.
• ·         If you are looking for Tatkal ticket. Get up early and note down everything on paper, what you want and type it fast exactly at 10 o clock or whatever the current Tatkal reservation start time. Be sure that for longer distances, you will not get second chance to get a reservation. If you are looking for a offline ticket you need to go and join a queue before the Tatkal ticket time. In the morning it is like a race of horse. Lol.

By following the above tips there are definitely chances that you will not be in trouble, but exceptions are there. You need to follow the best you think could be.

Real Estate Brokers are the Main Source of Black Money

I am living in Mumbai for two years and a normal banker with technical end. Here I have seen that real estate’s prices are so high and seem to be managed by virtual pricing some time. Simply there is no demand some time but prices do not get decreased. For buy or getting any property a person needs to approach a broker and there is no doubt it is a much needed service when you don’t want to get involved in a lot of paper work or not aware enough of these kind of things.

But the question is: Why I have said the brokers are the main source of black money and how can I assume these things.

Lets share one of my experiences. I was looking for a flat on rent and I was thinking to get this by brokers because when I searched multiple website of real estate I have found they have been filled by brokers mostly, so there was no option left for me. When I approached them, they showed me different properties, according to my capacity. And I was happy with the service a man has provided, though he was not even a graduate. When I asked for the service charge, I was asked to pay 2 months’ rent to the broker as a service charges and also all the documentation fees which was already more than the real cost of documentation. They had also charged one month rent from the flat owner for the service. In short for an eleven month agreement he charged 3 months agreement as his fee. And insisted to get only in cash, in short he does not want to show this as his income and save tax. Story starts here, after eleven months; tenant needs to pay one month rent again to the same broker for the renewal of the agreement and also the documentation charges and in cash. In short you can assume if a broker only sells his product in form of rent, how much black money he generates and there is no worth for those services, the amount they charged, and for next year without any service.

For selling properties, they charge two percent or more in form of black money. The black money is also invested in properties and converted into white money by this way. So they are also not helping out the country at all and becoming the agents of bad only.

 I feel very bad, when I see that government is imposing too many taxes on common man, whose income is not enough to survive now, and he is paying taxes regularly. Government is not doing or regulating these kinds of practices, because many politicians money is also involve here. In my view there must also be a regulating authority for this, so that property rates could not be managed by money makers only and needy people could get what they deserve on their white money.
I have made a page on facebook as ‘No Broker Flats Mumbai’ as an initiative to provide a platform to people who wants to directly interact with each other. I think people must get come out from their sleep and start fighting for their rights.

Titanic: A Must Watch Movie

Titanic, a movie which has created a new milestone was directed flawlessly by the director James Cameron. I was not much fond of Hollywood movies, but this movie has changed my mindset towards them. Though I used to see only the action movies by Hollywood, though this is the Hollywood movie I have seen most of the time. Many times in theatre and some time on TV also.

What I felt when I saw, as I am in year 1912 and the things around them were so realistic. Even I know that this is the movie but they convinced me to accept what they wanted to show. The actress Kate Winslet was looking so beautiful and the Lead Actor Leonordo Decaprio has done a tremendous job in this movie. Almost everyone has played a Oskar winning role.

The ship was so real and everything seems to be so lavish in that. Think they have spent more money than the real ship in today’s value. I think that is the dedication towards the job, and they have proved this that if someone really wants to do something by heart, a heart loving product will come out as a result.

In short this is a complete and a must watch movie, one must watch. At the end of the movie the hero shows his true love and got die and when Rose (the actress) push him into water, it is so touching and definitely will dampen your eyes. And the next phase when the actress gets old and throw her locket into the water, you could imagine the feelings of a woman who never married due to being in love with someone who is no more.

Will 2012 Really Have Any Doomsday?

Yes this is a question if there is any dooms day in 2012. From my childhood I have grown up listened too many times that in 2012 there would be a day named as doomsday and everything will be vanished on that day, whether humans, animals or any live things. But after that, there would be also a new world where better life would take place. The story seems to be very filmy and we used to listen that with a lot of interest if someone talked about.

Today even there is no reason to believe on this face if there is any dooms day but being humans and a nature of adventure and to like unusual things we like to talk about that. Even some movies in Hollywood are also made on this topic and those were a big hit. It tells that it is not only a matter of childish talk, even mature people also somewhat believe on this.

But could it be really true, have you ever thought. In my view, yes this could be true, but doomsday would be a way of cleaning by nature and obviously it could not be cleaned in one shot. So doomsday is not going to be like the day, we used to image in our childhood. But it could be brought in our life by humans. Yes we humans would be responsible only for this kind of day. Today we have mass destruction weapons and if they are used, then nobody can save the earth. But the good thing happened after the Second World War, that there was only cold war and not war like earlier. Yes countries are more united and world is more secure though we live on a layer of atomic weapons also. But those are also used for power balance.

Ultimately if any terrorist organization did or get this power they can really bring this kind of day, so we and also the people must think not to support this kind of any organization in any way. 

I just want to say that nature will never commit suicide, but humans can do a murder. So there is only a need to make a better world and have an optimistic thinking towards our next generation.

Windows 8: Will Not Be Accepted Easily

Windows 7 is a success again after an unsuccessful version of Window vista. Obvious windows Vista demanded huge resources which could not be provided at lower cost and people are aware enough now with the performance. They were happy with the performance of Windows XP and they are still using windows XP with full satisfaction. It is also said that Microsoft will not give everything in its version of OS, as if you get everything why will you upgrade your system.

Any ways another launch of operating system was taken place by Microsoft and that is Windows 8. No doubt it is too different from its predecessors and it will definitely be liked by new generation but what about old users who love to click on Start Button. Yes there is no start button. Yes No Start Button. So where to start?

This question comes in my mind at the time of first use of the Operating system. People are not comfortable to move on windows 7 even due to change in function as they are comfortable with windows XP and they are in habit of using that operating system.

In my view Windows 8 is a result of innovation as many new things have been adopted here, like this is touch screen friendly and give an appearance or interface to the user like a mobile phone touch screen. So it targets to the younger generation and I am sure that they will like this, If there is no performance degradation. They will also love to explore new things as still there are many things which are hidden, if you need to search for shut down button initially. As that is not available at start menu , because there is no Start Menu.

Now what about current users, In my view they will not accept this as their primary operating system at least for an year or more, as they need to learn using its interface a lot and they want their work to be completed earlier. Much software is not compatible to this, so this will take time to get the latest supporting versions of them also. And the current users are not going to use this because of different interface from the native interface of windows. This is not going to become the OS in offices as they are not using the touch screen monitors at most and they are not going to increase their IT expenses and when people are good enough in using their keyboards for so long.

In my view for at least one and half years, you will not see this operating system as a primary operating system at more than 80% of the windows machines.

Here I would like to share a fun kind of thing, which is not really incorrect, but that is also not correct. Think how can it be possible, that 1=2. If it is possible, are you going to give me your $2 in exchange of my $1. Obviously not. But that can be proved mathematically and I would love to share this trick with my readers. I think you will enjoy.

I also want to challenge, if you could prove this wrong. As I am dead sure, there is nothing wrong, but again how can be 1 = 2.

Suppose,

x = y --------------------------------(1)

so           x² = y²

if we delete  from both side, there is nothing wrong in equation.

x² - y²= y² - y²--------------------------------(2)

or, by algebraic factors, we can write the above equation as

                (x+y)(x-y)= xy - y²  (from equation 1, y could be replace by x also, so y²=xy)

Or           (x+y)(x-y)= y(x-y)

Or           (x+y)=y(x-y)/(x-y)

Or           x + y = y

Again from equation (1) , x could be replaced by y, so the above equation can be also written as

                y + y = y

or            2y = y

If we divide the left hand side and right hand side by y

Then      2y/y=y/y

Or           2=1
