Chromebook Can Give Good Competition To Microsoft Windows

A Chromebook generally runs on the Google Chrome Operating System. This Chromebooks is very inexpensive and its startup time is very fast. A Chromebooks usually works residing on the Web, i.e., it works if only linked to the internet.

In today’s computer technology, Chromebook can be a good competitor to Microsoft Windows. Because Chromebooks are very inexpensive, they can really attract customers. Besides, they have some good features that can compete with other Microsoft Operating Systems. It is expected that Chrome OS will just be widespread in no time. The new generation Chromebooks will not be using quad-core processors, so they will be very inexpensive to the general users. Besides, these computers are manufactured with low-price hardware, so they will be affordable too. The chrome web browser is also very good as a web application.

Though Chromebooks might not work as a complete personal computer, they are able to do what people want from them. Google has started a side project for Chromebooks, which is now a good priority. It is not unpredictable that Chromebooks may strongly compete with Microsoft Windows’ market niche. Moreover, some foremost PC makers are emerging with low-priced Chromebooks.

But today’s Chromebooks have nothing significant in opposition to Windows 8 computers because Windows 8 computers are really powerful in many ways; they can easily run on various applications with their touchscreens. So, Google can take the next step by making touchscreen Chromebooks to fight with Windows PCs.

It is estimated that touchscreen Chromebooks may emerge before long to create a little irritation to the gigantic Microsoft environment. But it is uncertain that adding a touchscreen in Chromebooks can draw more customers. Price and features are factors of both of them.

So, it can be clearly said that Chromebooks may be a great competitor to Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. However, both of them will remain prevalent side by side. Above all, competitions are good to a great extent.
